what we believe
EEMN gratefully accepts and gladly submits to the Bible as the revealed and infallible Word of God, and is the unchanging and final authority in all matters of faith and life.
We believe in the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, is co-equal with God the Father and the Son. He enables people to repent, trust in Jesus Christ, joyfully live out the Christian life and carry out the Great Commission (Acts 1:5).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Savior and Lord who is “the way, the truth and the life” (John 14:6), and that “salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven, given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
We believe that the Heavenly Father is pleased to receive all people who come to Him through repentance and faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, and wishes to welcome them into His eternal family (John 3:16-17).
We believe that as Christians, we are called to remember the poor (Galatians 2:10), and to support the weak (Acts 20:35).
We believe God’s order for marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman (Matthew 19:3-6), and that a sexual relationship is intended only for within marriage (I Corinthians 7:1-4).
